Cookie notice
A short notice, because there is very little to declare: this website stores nothing on your device and measures nothing about your visit.
1. Our position
pragmaticatech.org sets no cookies. It contains no analytics, no advertising or remarketing tags, no social media widgets, no session tracking, no fingerprinting and no A/B testing tools. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
2. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, and which is sent back on subsequent requests. Cookies are commonly used to keep you signed in, to remember preferences, or — most often — to measure and profile behaviour across sites. None of these applies here.
3. Local storage and similar technologies
We also make no use of localStorage, sessionStorage,
IndexedDB, web beacons, tracking pixels or device fingerprinting. The site's small
JavaScript file handles the mobile menu, the FAQ accordion, scroll animations and the
year in the footer. It runs entirely in your browser, stores nothing and sends nothing
anywhere.
4. Third-party requests
The one external request the site makes is for typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Google does not set cookies for font-file requests, but as with any network request, your IP address and browser user-agent are necessarily visible to the server that serves the file. If you would rather avoid that, blocking the two domains leaves the site fully readable in your system's default serif and sans-serif faces.
There are no other third-party resources: no CDN scripts, no embedded video, no maps, no fonts or images loaded from anywhere else.
5. Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard web-server request logs for security and reliability — typically IP address, timestamp, requested path, response code and user-agent. These are a byproduct of serving the page rather than a tracking mechanism. They are not cookies, are not used to profile visitors, and are not combined with any other data. 6. Staying in control
Nothing on this site needs to be blocked for your privacy, but every major browser lets you refuse or delete cookies, block third-party domains and browse privately. Those controls will not affect how this site works — with JavaScript disabled entirely, every page still renders completely.
7. If this ever changes
Should we introduce anything that stores information on your device, this notice will be updated before it goes live and an appropriate consent mechanism will be added. We have no plans to do so.
