Get in touch

One address, answered properly

Every enquiry — new work, live engagements, invoices, press, data protection — goes to the same mailbox and receives a considered reply within one working day.

Writing the first email

Five lines are enough to get a useful reply

You do not need a specification or a brief. The more precisely you describe the situation, the more precisely we can tell you whether there is work here — and roughly what it would cost.

  • The decision or symptom. “Should we replace the ERP?” or “our integrations break every month”. Either is a fine starting point.
  • Rough size. Headcount, sites, and the systems that matter most to the business.
  • What has been tried. Previous projects, current suppliers, internal proposals — including the ones that failed.
  • Your timing. A board date, a contract renewal, a funding deadline. It changes what we would propose.
  • Any budget frame. Optional, but it saves us both from proposing work at the wrong scale.

Practical answers

Yes — 45 minutes, no obligation and no invoice, whether or not it leads to work. It exists to establish whether we can genuinely help. Roughly as often as not, the honest outcome is a suggestion rather than a proposal.

A form would mean collecting and storing your details in a third-party service before you have decided to work with us. Email keeps the record in your own sent items, gives you a copy of everything you have told us, and lets you attach whatever context you like. It also means this site sets no cookies and runs no tracking.

Certainly. Send yours and we will review and return it, usually within two working days. If you would prefer ours, ask and we will provide a short mutual NDA. In either case we treat everything you tell us as confidential from your first message.

Yes, where it adds something — discovery interviews, walking a site, or seeing a process performed. On-site days across Devon, Cornwall and the South West are straightforward; elsewhere in the UK they are arranged by agreement and any travel cost is stated in the scope beforehand.

It depends on current commitments; we run a small practice and do not overbook. The scoping call will give you an honest start date rather than an optimistic one, and if we cannot meet your deadline we will say so on that call.

Say so in your email. Some questions are genuinely answered in a single conversation, and we would rather have that conversation than manufacture a four-week engagement around it.

Describe the situation. We will reply within one working day, either with a time for a scoping call or with an honest note that this is not our work.
